Cutazz Michaelmas 2021 Events

Hi Cutazzers! It’s nearly time for term to start and we have lot of exciting workshops and socials planned for Michaelmas 🙂 Check out the termcard below – you can pick up a physical copy at our stall on the Fresher’s fair in a couple of weeks!

We will be updating our Events page before and during termtime with sign-ups to these events!

Note: The Returner’s social is on 4th October for returning Cutazz members. This social is aimed at people who have been part of the society in previous years, and is therefore not on the termcard. The Fresher’s Cocktail social is for Freshers only, so that new members can get to know eachother before the other Michaelmas socials 🙂

Results Day 2021

Joining Cambridge University this year? Or are you just looking to join a new society? How about Cutazz?

Cutazz runs classes for beginners and advanced dancers alike in Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Street and Commercial (Note: You will also see Breakdance classes on the timetable in October as another society is merging into our class schedule).

Cutazz runs socials and an annual show, creating a community of dancers inside and out of the studio!

Follow us on social media for updates, and message us via Facebook or Instagram, or email president@cutazz.com, if you have any questions about the society. We hope to see you soon!

Synergy 2020

We just finished our annual CUTAZZ dance show – Synergy! We want to extend a big thank you to the committee who gave so much time and effort to organise everything and also to all our dancers/choreographers/teachers who participated in our three sold-out shows. Finally, thank you to anyone who came to watch – we hope you enjoyed it as much as we loved performing for you!

Below are some highlights from the show:

CUTAZZ SHOW 2020 – SYNERGY

CUTAZZ Dance Society presents their sell-out annual showcase. A dance experience for all to enjoy, presented by students and residents of Cambridge. This spectacle presents routines from classes which dancers have been working on since October, choreography from students, and the Cambridge University Dance Competition Team. The performance will showcase a range of genres including jazz, tap, contemporary, commercial, street and ballet. £1 from each ticket sale will be donated to the charitable fund set up by Neil and Alison Cutland in memory of beloved and sorely missed friend Alana Cutland.

There will be 3 shows – 7.30pm on 21st Feb 2020, 2.30pm on 22nd Feb 2020 and 7.30pm on 22nd Feb 2020.

Tickets are now live at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/theleys/e-qkzvjr

Alternatively, telephone bookings can be made at 0333 666 3366, but a £1.75 booking fee applies for this.

We hope to see you there!
