Hi! I’m Sharla, a third year NatSci, and will be teaching beginners lyrical/jazz this year. I have a background in gymnastics and became more involved with dance from sixth form, joining CUTAZZ as I started uni. In my first year I was in the hip hop competition team and in the annual show danced in two contemporary extra dances. Last year I joined the advanced lyrical classes and intermediate jazz classes and also choreographed a contemporary piece for the show. I’m really looking forward to teaching for CUTAZZ this year and hope you enjoy being part of this amazing society!
Hi, I’m Vicki and I am a second year historian at Homerton College. I have been dancing since the age of three, and have been trained in many styles including ballet, jazz, contemporary and most importantly my favourite style tap! I’ve reached ISTD advanced 2 tap, and have been involved with the nationally recognised Tap Attack Company. I look forward to sharing my passion for dance through being a teacher for CUTAZZ!
Hi! I’m Beth, a first year HSPS student as St Catharine’s and this year’s Vice President of CUTAZZ. I began dancing when I was 5, achieving my Intermediate Ballet and Advanced 2 Modern and Jazz levels with ARBTA, as well as GCSE Dance. I taught jazz and tap at my dance school as a student teacher which I thoroughly enjoyed. Dance has carried on being a huge part of my life since I started university as I am a member of the competition team this year and have continued to attend classes. I cannot wait to start teaching for CUTAZZ, work together on some creative routines and technique and meet lots of new faces!
