For our final social of the year we usually have a garden party; unfortunately, that wasn’t possible this year, so instead we had a brunch and punting social! Starting off with lunch at Bills, we then hired out a few college punts and tried out punting in the afternoon. Everyone seems to have had loads of fun!
In June, we finally got to dance together in person again! A huge thank you to all of the teachers who took workshops in Commercial, Jazz and Contemporary. Here are some of the moments we captured:
This Easter term, the Cutazz committees finally got to meet in-person for an official handover! Thank you to the 2020-21 committee for everything they’ve done for Cutazz over the past year, and we look forward to working with you all in the year ahead!

We just finished our annual CUTAZZ dance show – Synergy! We want to extend a big thank you to the committee who gave so much time and effort to organise everything and also to all our dancers/choreographers/teachers who participated in our three sold-out shows. Finally, thank you to anyone who came to watch – we hope you enjoyed it as much as we loved performing for you!
Below are some highlights from the show:
CUTAZZ Dance Society presents their sell-out annual showcase. A dance experience for all to enjoy, presented by students and residents of Cambridge. This spectacle presents routines from classes which dancers have been working on since October, choreography from students, and the Cambridge University Dance Competition Team. The performance will showcase a range of genres including jazz, tap, contemporary, commercial, street and ballet. £1 from each ticket sale will be donated to the charitable fund set up by Neil and Alison Cutland in memory of beloved and sorely missed friend Alana Cutland.
There will be 3 shows – 7.30pm on 21st Feb 2020, 2.30pm on 22nd Feb 2020 and 7.30pm on 22nd Feb 2020.

We are really excited to start our weekly classes again from the 15th October.

We offer a variety of fun dance classes spanning across different genres – tap, jazz/lyrical, contemporary and street/commercial taught both by professionals and our very own students. Whether you’re a complete beginner looking to learn a few moves, or a dancer wanting to improve on technique/pick up new, fun choreography, you’ll definitely find something tailored to your interests in our classes for all levels!
Besides weekly dance classes, look forward to exciting socials and gatherings, as well as to being part of our biggest event – the annual CUTAZZ show!!
Our first class starts on the 14th of October, and classes are pay-as-you-go! So don’t be afraid to give it a go!
